Shenzhen, China — 16 July 2026. The rapid event of the 28th Asian Youth Chess Championships brought together nearly 900 young players from 30 Asian federations at the COLI Hotel in Shenzhen.

Players competed across 12 sections, covering the Under-8, Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 age groups for boys and girls.

The championship delivered a full day of competitive rapid chess, with participants demonstrating strong fighting spirit, sportsmanship and technical skill.
