The Chinese Chess Association, under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation (ACF) and FIDE, has the honor to invite all Asian National Chess Federations to participate in the 28th Asian Youth Chess Championships, which will be held from 15th (arrival) to 25th (departure) July 2026 in Shenzhen, China.
The Asian Chess Federation (ACF), also known as the FIDE Asian Zone (FAZ), is the continental governing body for the sport of chess in Asia. It is affiliated with the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE), the world chess federation. The ACF was founded in 1957 and currently has 44 member federations. The ACF is responsible for organizing and promoting chess tournaments in Asia, including the Asian Chess Championship, the Asian Continental Chess Championship, and the Asian Youth Chess Championships. The ACF also works to develop chess in Asia by providing training programs and resources for member federations. The ACF has been successful in promoting chess in Asia, and the continent has produced some of the world's best chess players, including Viswanathan Anand, Ding Liren, and Hou Yifan. The ACF is committed to continuing to develop chess in Asia and making the continent a major force in the world of chess.
